Marbled chocolate, sea salt, hazelnut and Nutella bark
Baking, Baking, Dessert, Gluten free, Grain free, Recipes, Snacks

Before we begin, let’s establish a fairly obvious fact: this is not a health food. Nutella is not a health food, nor are two different varieties of chocolate, nor is combining the two and sprinkling a few nuts on top.  Now that we’ve cleared the air, let’s establish, the next, even more obvious fact. Salt and vinegar roasted smashed potatoes
FODMAP friendly, Posts, Recipes, Vegan, Vegetarian

These salt and vinegar potatoes (smashed and roasted) started off as various iterations of the final dish. Firstly burnt butter and vinegar, vinegar, dill and basil, basil, dill and burnt butter. Gluten free, grain free minced tart with spiced torched meringue
Grain free Christmas apple minced tart with spiced meringue
Baking, Dessert, Gluten free, Grain free, Recipes

I have been gluten free for about five or six Christmases now, and each year I have accepted the status quo: that I will inevitably watch with envy as my family scarf down minced pies with reckless abandon. This year, however, I’ve made the call not to sit back and take missing out on dessert lightly,…

Vegan Mac and Cheese (that is gluten free and FODMAP friendly) from www.georgeats.com
Gluten free, vegan, low FODMAP mac n’ cheese
FODMAP friendly, Gluten free, Main, Posts, Recipes, Vegan, Vegetarian

Whenever I’m feeling sorry for my FODMAP self, I think of the low FODMAP vegans. As a general rule, the vegan diet often incorporates a lot of of fruit and legumes – both heavily restricted on the FODMAP diet. If I couldn’t rely on eggs, cheese, and the odd bit of fish, I don’t know…

I’m not even being cutesy and blogger-y when I say that pancakes will never go out of style, and that the limit for pancake recipes does not exist. Pumpkin, banana, chocolate, plain – there are pancakes for every possible mood and occasion. These ones are gluten free and low FODMAP, all the while still delicious and a…
