High protein Ninja Creami recipe e-book
I have been fervently developing Ninja Creami recipes since I bought my machine about a month ago. I am so excited to be sharing the first of many Ninja Creami recipe e-books: this high protein Ninja Creami recipe e-book.
I describe these recipes as high protein desserts – they contain whey protein powder (I used Bare Blends vanilla WPI) and either agave syrup or maple syrup. The recipes use less sweetener than traditional ice cream, but they are not necessarily low calorie, low sugar or low fat. I’m working on a number of other recipe e-books for the Ninja Creami, so stay tuned.
I have used vanilla flavour protein powder for all of these recipes. So, rest assured that you don’t need to buy multiple different flavours to make the recipes.
These recipes are designed for a NC300 machine with 470ml tubs. Deluxe Ninja Creami machines use larger tubs and you may need to double or adjust the recipe.

Important notes (please read before purchasing)
- This e-book uses a NC300 Ninja Creami machine which uses 470ml size tubs. Deluxe Ninja Creami models use larger tubs and you may need to double or adjust the recipe.
- I have used Bare Blends vanilla whey protein isolate for all of these recipes and tests. This is not sponsored – I use this protein in my day to day. It is a stripped back protein that contains WPI, stevia, vanilla bean and a small amount of soy lecithin. I recommend using a protein with a similar profile for similar results to mine.
- Whey protein isolate is great at making a ‘chewy’ textured ice cream. Other types of protein may not yield the same result.
- These recipes do not have a sugar free alternative. I am working on a stevia based recipe e-book. The recipes use agave syrup or maple syrup. Note that agave syrup has a low FODMAP threshold (I am working on a low FODMAP version, I promise!).
- If I had to classify these recipes, I would call them high protein desserts. While I have used less sugar than traditional ice cream recipes, they are not intended to be low calorie, low fat or low sugar.
- I do not calculate full nutrition panels for these recipes. I list the protein content only. If you would like a full nutrition panel, I recommend inputting the ingredients into My Fitness Pal.
- The protein in your Ninja Creami will depend on the protein powder and milk you use. The protein content for each Creami is calculated based on the ingredients I used.
- These recipes are all in grams for accuracy and for ease. Simply place the tub on the scales, tare the machine and you are ready to make your ice cream. American scales also toggle over to grams.
- Cups and tablespoons differ in size from country to country. Grams are more accurate and universally used.
